FAQs
We use only positive reinforcement and force-free methods. Every training plan is customized to your dog and your household because the best plan is one you can actually follow. That’s why we don’t just give you cookie-cutter steps, we build something doable and realistic for your lifestyle so it lasts.
We offer two main formats:
• Owner coaching sessions where you’re fully involved in the training process.
• Day training sessions where we work directly with your dog and then coach you afterward.
We also offer virtual sessions for highly reactive dogs that have a history of biting. Virtual training provides a safe starting point, and many of these dogs can graduate into in-person sessions once they’re ready.
We structure training in packages so you get a full program rather than quick fixes. Payment plans are available, making it easier to start right away without waiting.
One-time sessions may sound convenient, but they rarely lead to lasting change. Dogs learn through consistency and repetition, and owners need practice and support too. A package gives us enough time to build skills, address setbacks, and set you up for real progress. Without that structure, training often feels incomplete or overwhelming.
Yes. We specialize in tailoring training to your dog’s age, breed tendencies, history, and your goals. Whether it’s puppy basics, reactivity, or overexcitement, we’ll design a plan to address your dog’s unique needs.
Many clients see small changes within the first few sessions, especially with consistency. More complex behavior issues may take longer, but our structured programs are designed to give you steady, lasting progress.
Yes. Reactivity and behavior challenges are a core part of what we do. We’ll help your dog feel safer, lower their stress, and learn better ways to respond to triggers. For dogs with a bite history, we may begin virtually before moving into in-person sessions for safety.
Behavior depends on many factors, including your dog’s history, health, environment, and how consistent training is at home. A “guarantee” would be misleading, because no trainer can control those variables. What we do promise is a proven, science-based approach, ongoing support, and realistic goals. In fact, not guaranteeing results is a good thing, it means we’re honest, transparent, and focused on what’s best for your dog rather than selling empty promises.
We’ll talk about your dog’s behavior, your goals, and your lifestyle. You’ll walk away with clarity on what’s driving your dog’s behavior and a customized plan for moving forward.
Consistency is key. We’ll do the heavy lifting during sessions, but your follow-through makes the training stick. Don’t worry, we’ll give you clear steps that fit into your daily routine.
